Gypsum Underlayments *

Rapid Floor® offers the advantage of a smooth, joint-free surface and is an excellent alternative to double wood floor construction in new, multifamily residential projects. Rapid Floor is also GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Rapid Floor® Plus provides the extra muscle required when the job calls for a tougher, more durable surface. Its flexible compressive strength can be formulated to range from 2000 to 3200 psi (14 to 22 MPa), for the increased surface hardness that's critical in renovation, single family and commercial projects. Rapid Floor Plus is always manufactured in a "green" formulation and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Rapid Floor Plus is also GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Rapid Floor® Ultra is formulated to provide compressive strengths ranging from 2500 to 4000 psi (17.2 to 27.4 MPa), and offers an economical alternative to many concrete floor underlayment applications in commercial and renovation projects. Rapid Floor Ultra is always manufactured in a "green" formulation and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Rapid Floor Ultra is also GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Commercial Topping® has a fast drying and achieves compressive strengths up to 4500 psi (31 MPa). It's the ideal underlayment to meet ASTM F710 "Preparing Concrete to Receive Resilient Flooring". Plus it pours over VAT, VCT, terrazzo or ceramic, with no shotblasting required. Commercial Topping is always manufactured in a "Eco-Friendly" formulation and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Commercial Topping is also GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Self-Leveling Floors

Level-Right® Self-Leveling Floor Underlayment is a specially formulated, high-strength, cementitious underlayment that can handle any floor leveling challenge - without shotblasting or scarifying. Level-Right is an "Eco-Friendly" product which may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Level-Right is also GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Level-Right® LDF (Low Density Fill) is a revolutionary, lightweight product made from Portland cement and a proprietary expanded polystyrene foam aggregate. The aerated foam aggregate gives the cement a range of unique properties, making it perfect for deep fill applications. Level-Right LDF is ready–mixed cement designed to be capped with Maxxon Underlayment. Level-Right LDF is mixed and pumped on-site with Maxxon Underlayment pumps making installation quick and easy.

Level-One™ EZ
Level-One™ EZ is a pre-sanded solution for commercial leveling projects. Requiring no mechanical prep for most applications, Level-One EZ is your Go-To self-leveler. Just Clean, Prime and Pour!

Sound Control Systems

Acousti-Mat® 1/8

Code Minimum Sound Control - The new economical solution for both new floors and retrofit where floor height is a concern.  Acousti-Mat 1/8 maintains a low 1/8” (3 mm) profile and requires only a ¾” Maxxon underlayment pour depth, while increasing STC 6-15 points when compared to a bare wood frame system.  Acousti-Mat 1/8 is GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Acousti-Mat® 1/4

Multifamily Original Sound Control – The original sound control mat for multifamily construction. The low-profile sound control system. Increases IIC levels up to 10 points over wood frame, and up to 20 points over concrete. Increases STC rating 6-15 points over bare wood frame system. Acousti-Mat 1/4 is GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Acousti-Mat® 1/4 Premium

Multifamily Original Sound Control – Ideal upgrade for multifamily construction where floor height is a concern. Acousti-Mat 1/4 Premium takes the proven sound reduction of Acousti-Mat's floating floor technology and adds an additional layer of noise control. With a 1/4 " height, the mat requires only a 1" topping. Acousti-Mat 1/4 Premium is GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Acousti-Mat® 3/8

The Multifamily Standard of Sound Control – The new acoustical standard for multifamily living. Increases IIC levels up to 13 points over wood frame, and up to 20 points over concrete. Increases STC rating 6-15 points over bare wood frame system. Acousti-Mat® 3/8 is GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Acousti-Mat® 3/8 Premium

The Multifamily Standard of Sound Control – Ideal upgrade for condominium living. Acousti-Mat® 3/8 Premium provides added impact noise control with an added layer of high performance acoustical fabric. Acousti-Mat® 3/8 Premium increases the IIC levels of the floor/ceiling assembly by up to 17 points over wood frame construction and up to 25 points over concrete construction. Acousti-Mat® 3/8 Premium is GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Acousti-Mat® 3/4

Multifamily Luxury Sound Control – Ideal for the luxury developments and assemblies with exposed ceilings. For super sound control even in open beam, concrete slab and exposed ceiling/mass timber floor systems. Increases IIC levels up to 17 points over wood frame, and up to 25 points over concrete. Increases STC rating 6-15 points over bare wood frame system. Acousti-Mat® 3/4 is GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Acousti-Mat® 3/4 Premium

Multifamily Luxury Sound Control – Maxxon’s highest performance sound control mat. Acousti-Mat® 3/4 Premium - For challenging floors, like those found in warehouse-to-multifamily conversion projects, only the best will do. Acousti-Mat® 3/4 Premium delivers top quality noise reduction by combining the proven sound reduction of Acousti-Mat's floating floor technology with an added layer of isolation. Acousti-Mat® 3/4 Premium is GREENGUARD Gold Certified.

Specialty Products

Aquafin®SG2 is a 2-component, moisture tolerant, extremely high density, chemically enhanced epoxy based product which prevents the passage of water vapor and moisture through slabs or walls on or below grade, thus eliminating delamination of adhesives, floor coverings and coatings. It also prevents capillary infiltration of oil or other chemicals from the ground and can be used to treat oil contaminated slabs.

Aquafin® SG3 Aquafin Vaportight Coat SG3 is a 2-component, moisture tolerant, low viscosity, solvent free, chemically enhanced epoxy based product which reduces the passage of water vapor and moisture through slabs on or below grade, thus eliminating delamination of adhesives, floor coverings and coatings.

Aquafin® SG4 Aquafin Vaportight Coat SG4 is a rapid setting 2-component, moisture tolerant, low viscosity, solvent free, chemically enhanced epoxy based product which reduces the passage of water vapor and moisture through slabs on, below and above grade as well as split slabs, thus eliminating delamination of adhesives, floor coverings and coatings. SG4 meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM F3010-13 Standard Practice for Two-Component Resin Based Membrane-Forming Moisture Mitigation Systems for Use Under Resilient Floor Coverings.

Maxxon® Reinforcement (MR)  is a reinforcement product used in conjunction with Maxxon Underlayments and Acousti-Mat Sound Control Mats for crack suppression and to reduce underlayment pour depth.
