Gypsum Underlayments
Rapid Floor®
offers the advantage of a smooth, joint-free surface and is an excellent alternative to double wood floor construction in new, multifamily residential projects.
Rapid Floor® Plus
provides the extra muscle required when the job calls for a tougher, more durable surface. Its flexible compressive strength can be formulated to range from 2000 to 3200 psi (14 to 22 MPa), for the increased surface hardness that's critical in renovation, single family and commercial projects. Rapid Floor Plus is always manufactured in a "green" formulation and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Rapid Floor Plus is also GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Rapid Floor® Ultra
is formulated to provide compressive strengths ranging from 2500 to 4000 psi (17.2 to 27.4 MPa), and offers an economical alternative to many concrete floor underlayment applications in commercial and renovation projects. Rapid Floor Ultra is always manufactured in a "green" formulation and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Rapid Floor Ultra is also GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Rapid Radiant®
is the ultimate underlayment for radiant heat applications. Poured over hot water tubes or electric heating cables, it maximizes radiant heat performance while withstanding temperature fluctuations. Rapid Radiant is always manufactured in a "green" formulation and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Rapid Radiant is also GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Commercial Topping®
has a fast drying and achieves compressive strengths up to 4500 psi (31 MPa). It's the ideal underlayment to meet ASTM F710 "Preparing Concrete to Receive Resilient Flooring". Plus it pours over VAT, VCT, terrazzo or ceramic, with no shotblasting required. Commercial Topping is always manufactured in a "green" formulation and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Commercial Topping is also GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Self-Leveling Floors
Level-Right®
Self-Leveling Floor Underlayment is a specially formulated, high-strength, cementitious underlayment that can handle any floor leveling challenge - without shotblasting or scarifying. Level-Right is a "green" product which may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Level-Right is also GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Level-Right® Plus
is a multi-purpose self-leveling floor underlayment, ideal for thin or thick topping applications over concrete. Levels, smooths and repairs, all with superior speed and a high strength set. It's the superior solution for 0-1 1/2" (0-38mm). Dries fast to keep your job on schedule.
Level-Right® FS-10
is used when the job calls for a new floor that's smooth, level and super fast-setting. Levels, smoothes, and repairs 0 - 3/8" (0-10 mm).
Level-Right® WearTop
is ideal for fast track retrofits. Level-Right WearTop is the answer for old or damaged concrete floors that need a new, smooth wear surface. Commonly used in retail, commercial and light manufacturing applications, it provides a smooth, permanent wear surface.
Level-Right® FeatherEdge
is a specially formulated, fast setting, polymer-modified portland cement based patching compound. Mixed with water, it is used for patching over all gypsum underlayments, wood and concrete subfloors. It can be used as an embossing leveler over vinyl, VCT, cement, terrazzo and old adhesives.
Sound Control Systems
The new economical solution for both new floors and retrofit where floor height is a concern. Acousti-Mat I maintains a low 3/16” (5 mm) profile and requires only a ¾” Maxxon underlayment pour depth, while increasing STC up to 12 points when compared to a bare wood frame system. Now always “Green” with 40% pre-consumer recycled content; GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Acousti-Mat® II is the industry standard and accepts a thin floating floor composite. It is ideal in both new and retrofit flooring applications where floor height is a concern. Acousti-Mat II with a Maxxon Underlayment increases IIC and STC levels 6-15 rating points over wood frame and IIC levels up to 20 rating points over concrete. Acoustic-Mat II is made with 40% pre-consumer recycled nylon which may contribute points toward LEED project certification and is GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Enkasonic®Enkasonic® creates sound-rated floors with the high IIC and STC level required by IBC 2009 and FHA for luxury developments. It is a durable and proven solution - the only mat that has been tested after 10 years of use. (Enkasonic retained 97% of original thickness, was as pliable as a new roll, and performed equally to a newly manufactured roll.) It increases IIC levels up to 12 points over wood frame, and up to 20 points over concrete. It also increases the STC rating 6-15 points over a bare wood frame system. Enkasonic is made with 40% pre-consumer recycled nylon which may contribute points toward LEED project certification and is GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Acousti-Mat® 3Acousti-Mat 3 consists of a nylon core of fused, entangled filaments attached to a non-woven fabric, similar to Maxxon's Acousti‑Mat II, only three times thicker. It's a proven fact that the larger the air space, the greater the sound control - and this system creates the largest air void of any sound control mat. Acousti-Mat 3 increases IIC levels up to 17 points over wood frame, and up to 25 rating points (or more) over concrete. It also increases the STC rating 6-15 points over a bare wood frame system. Acoustic-Mat 3 is made with 40% pre-consumer recycled nylon which may contribute points toward LEED project certification and is GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified.
Acousti-Mat® SD ![]()
Acousti-Mat SD is designed to fit the flutes of 9/16" - 2 1/2" o.c. 22 gauge corrugated steel deck, opening corrugated steel deck projects to any floor good, not just "quiet" carpet and pad. Acousti-Mat SD requires only one underlayment pour, reducing project time to completion.
Acousti-Mat® LP (Low Profile) is a sound control mat used over concrete slabs and topped with a Maxxon underlayment to improve IIC ratings. Acousti-Mat LP provides a tough, durable mat with water repellent features and excellent reductions in sound transmission and sound reflection, achieving a Delta IIC rating of 19 – a reduction in impact noise of approximately 75%.
Acousti-Mat® LPRAcousti-Mat® LPR is an entangled mesh attached to a unique blend of polymeric fibers. LPR can be attached to a concrete or wood subfloor and then topped with a gypsum or self-leveling underlayment. In this application, the LPR system can meet the 50 IIC sound control rating required by the IBC. Acoustic-Mat LPR is made with 40% recycled nylon and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification. Applying some types of floor goods directly to Acousti-Mat LPR is an option.
Specialty Products
Maxxon® DPM is a 2-component, moisture tolerant, extremely high density, chemically enhanced epoxy based product which prevents the passage of water vapor and moisture through slabs or walls on or below grade, thus eliminating delamination of adhesives, floor coverings and coatings. It also prevents capillary infiltration of oil or other chemicals from the ground and can be used to treat oil contaminated slabs.
Maxxon® MVP (Moisture Vapor Protection)
Maxxon MVP is a 2-component, moisture tolerant, low viscosity, solvent free, chemically enhanced epoxy based product which reduces the passage of water vapor and moisture through slabs on or below grade, thus eliminating delamination of adhesives, floor coverings and coatings
Maxxon® CSM
is a reinforcement product used in conjunction with Maxxon Underlayments for crack suppression. CSM consists of a nylon core of fused, entangled filaments and a geotextile fabric bonded to one side. Maxxon CSM is now always made with 40% recycled nylon and may contribute toward points for LEED project certification.
