Originally built in 1913 for retail shops, the 19 story North American Building was renovated into condominiums. This involved Alliance Specialty Trades doing some misc concrete work prior to pouring 1 1/2" average of Rapid Floor Plus over CSM. The CSM was placed over thick poly which was placed over contaminated cinder concrete. A large challenge for Alliance was the extremely tight city site, with only a 15-foot alley interspersed with fire escapes, the means of delivery and equipment logistics was carefully coordinated.
