This project provided a unique situation that Insul-Flow was able to resolve for PCI. In some areas, Insul-Flow discovered that the entry door had been set below the allowable height and would not allow for the full thickness of the 1/4" Acousti-mat II and 1" of Rapid Floor Plus. Insul-Flow was able to suggest CSM and 3/4" Rapid Floor Plus as an alternative. By using CSM and Rapid Floor Plus the sound rated system was maintained and the reduced thickness was met. The Contractor was able to maintain production schedule with no invasive destruction and was very appreciative to Insul-Flow for identifying a potential problem and presenting a reasonable solution.
