Scope:
Located directly across the street from the twin towers, this 23-story
1920's-era bulding was all but destroyed during the attack on the World
Trade Center. Now it is in the process of being reborn as luxury
rentals in the heart of New York City's financial district.
New Floor Installers' Nick
Patti, Jr. chose Maxxon's new Crack Suppression Mat, CSM, to help solve
the challenge of installing Rapid Floor Plus on old, dry, and uneven
tongue and groove wood floors. The project was originally specified
to have metal lath mechanically fastened to the wood substrate.
CSM was introduced as a practical, cost-saving, alternative to the labor
intensive metal lath.
